The future of HP will depend on the new CEO

How will be the next competitor for the next decade for HP?
The resignation of Mark Hurd from HP as CEO has taken place just some time ago and the search of a good CEO for HP is on. Many investors have shifted their attention to their future PC maker having the post of world number 1. Many people feel that HP will go outside to pick up a new leader for the sake of its top line growth.
The same thing of going outside in search of leader happened in HP when it hired Hurd in 2005 and Carly Firina in 1999. Investors will receive the signal of the direction of HP depending upon the future CEO says analyst Aaron Rakers. The best competitor of HP is IBM who similarly sells hardware,software and technology services to companies. Many IBM executives has been cited as potential candidates by the analysts which includes Steve Mills.
Many fierce rival like Cisco and Apple are enter into the computer market to gear up the competition with HP. Apple has created a new dimension to the i phone smart phone market and has won many market share in the mobile market. HP has plans to enter into the tablet and Smart phone market following its acquisition of Palm Inc. Many companies like Oracle,Microsoft, Intel senior executive names have emerged for the post of CEO post of HP.
