We have the feeling only coffee and tea can stimulate us. The chemicals in coffee or tea help us to be cognitive for some period of time. The same cognitive thinking can be attained by meditation done daily says a study.

A study in Washington has made clear that a brief meditation has the same effect. Brief Meditation helps one become cognitively sharper says the study. A cognitive activity involves in intellectual task like thinking, reasoning and remembering. Cognitively or consciously involved can be easily done by a human brain says the study.

The technique the study is known as mindfulness which is related to meditation technique. The participants in the study who did meditation showed significant cognitive skills. The meditation trained volunteers had a improved skills after a brief meditation. Each participant were made to meditate for 20 minutes and saw a good improvement in their cognitive skills.
