US wants to help out Pakistan
The visiting US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has praised Pakistan for all the special efforts it is taking in the last few years to weed out terrorist networks in the region. She said that the US government has tripled the non-military aid to Pakistan as a recognition of it’s efforts towards terrorism reduction, and would push for more support to Pakistan based on further developments.
Recently the aid bill has been approved by the US senate which has provided for 1.5 billion dollars worth of aid for Pakistan every year, for the next five years. The aid is subject to stringent monitoring by the US authorities.
