US Red River is flooding Midwest region
The US Midwest region is seeing the worst flooding in 112 years, as the Red River is raging with massive water flow in the last few days. Already a dyke in Fargo has been breached due to the record high levels of the river, forcing over 400 families to move out of their homes.
Now the local administration has ordered evacuation of another 1200 families from their homes from nearby areas, as the flood is not showing any signs of abating. All the abnormalities are expected to increase in the coming decade because of the El Nino factor, say experts.
