India may be affected by the global crisis now spreading across the globe , said the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the sidelines of his touring to US and France. He said that India might be affected on the lower side given its strong banking and financial system, when compared to other countries. Recession across the globe will mean lesser demand for imports, including imports from India.
