Crude at 122 dollars
Crude oil prices climbed by over five dollars yesterday due to increased tension between Russia and US over the Georgia issue. Experts fear that the gas supplies from Russia into Europe could be disrupted by Russia to show its might, since US has signed up for placing its missile system in countries around Russia last week. Also OPEC is expected to meet shortly to finalize production cuts which can again trigger higher crude prices.
