China raises tax on cars
China has started taking more steps to reduce the fuel consumption by raising the taxes on higher end cars by nearly 100% and also upping the rate of tax on middle end cars. China also reduced the tax rate on the lower end cars which are fuel efficient and therefore good on the consumers. These moves are expected to reduce the crude prices further, especially after the Olympics are over next week.
