GM to cut jobs
General Motors, the once most respected company of the world, is now planning to cut thousands of white collar jobs, which will be in addition to the cuts they announced only last month. This is due to the continuing poor outlook for the automobile sector, especially the ones in US, and the poor economic situation as a whole. The board meet in August is expected to approve this and also they will discuss plans to raise more cash.
