Citigroup continues sacking people
Citi group which has been in doll drums due to the mortgage credit crisis for the last one year has been sacking people mercilessly across the globe every month almost. Yesterday it has announced that it is likely to send another 6500 people this week with pink slips. This will be in addition to the 9000 people it has sent out till last month. The latest list includes nearly dozens of senior managing directors and most of them are part of the investment banking group.
