US to probe crude oil trade
US Commodities futures trading commission, the watch dog for US commodity transactions, has finally decided to get into the act. It is investigating US crude oil trading to determine whether market prices are being manipulated by speculators. The commission is looking into the oil derivatives contracts also to find whether there is willful malpractice.
