IT hiring slowdown
Indian IT companies which were till last month indicating that there is no slowdown in the hiring of new recruits, have now indicated sharp drops in the quarter ending March 2008. Drop is steep in as of companies like Infosys wherein it has dropped from 8100 people in Dec 2007 quarter to 3299 people in March 2008 quarter. Every top indian corporate have indicated slowdown. For Satyam computers the drop is from 3424 to 1122 nos. For Cognizant technologies the drop is from 6500 nos to 2600 nos.
