Dow chemicals raises prices
The leading MNC in chemicals business has raised the prices of most of its products by up to twenty percent since it has been unable to absorb the input cost increases. The input prices have gone up substantially for Dow chemicals in the recent months with the sharp surge in crude oil and therefore petroleum derivatives, power , coal etc. The end product price increase is expected to partly offset the input price increase.
